What do you guys think of this ottoman?

I saw this at Cost plus today and thought it was cute. What do you guys think? Too busy? Cheap looking? I can't seem to get the picture to look better but included a link to it. The top lifts off for storage which I love and the fabric is kind of canvasy, looks sturdy, love the caster feet.

Anyway, I have a traditional small coffee table for drinks/books etc. but DH would like something to put his feet on when he is either sitting in his fav chair or on the couch. Would it be weird to put this in a living room with another coffee table or is this meant to take the place? I guess I could put a tray on it for drinks, but it isn't very big and then you wouldn't want to put your feet on it if you had anything else up there for fear of toppling it over and there wouldn't be room.

Depends where you plan to put it, but I think t's adorable and a lot of fun. I love furniture with casters.

It's cute! We have an ottoman next to the coffee table but it's smaller, about 15" square, and it's just a bit shorter than the coffee table. I think if the ottoman is taller than the table, it looks awkward, but maybe that's just me. I really wanted an ottoman that would slide under my table but couldn't find one!

Check the return policy just to be sure. If you are confident you can bring it back, buy it and take it home and see how it feels in your own home.

It might be a little too "cute" for hubby, color- and pattern-wise, so I'd follow PhoneLady's advice.

Glad to hear you guys like it too, sometimes I think my tastes are crazy. I will find out about the return policy. I know it is on sale so not sure if that affects returns. It might be a bit girly for DH but he doesn't really mind with that kind of stuff and I will be using it too. I saw a picture where a round upholstered ottoman "lived" part way tucked under the traditional coffee table so you could pull it out when you need it I will have to see if this one would slide under mine....I kind of doubt it. I could also maybe have it off to the side as an extra seat and then just pull it up when we want to use it as a foot stool.
