Outdoor fabrics: sunbrella or perennials

Hi,
I am trying to choose between the two outdoor fabric brands - Sunbrella and Perennials. A lot of outdoor cushion manufacturers seem to offer this choice, and in some cases perennials is more expensive.

I wanted to find out if there are any pros/cons for using either brands over each other. My interest is for an outdoor patio, where I have my furniture underneath patio umbrellas. I am trying to replace my cushions and would appreciate feedback on Sunbrella or Perennials.

Perennials is the industry leader in performance fabric. Both Sunbrella and Perennials specialize in solution dyed acrylic which is the premium performance material in the industry. However where Perennials exceeds is in the focus of luxury weaves: velvets, weaves, bouclets, chenilles, over 800 directly manufactured SKUs, ALL of which are water, Mold, bleach, UV, and stain resistant. You can use any Perennials fabric outdoors or indoors, and all can be cleaned with kitchen bleach. Definitely the luxury option and it will cost more than Sunbrella as a result. Rightly so. Enjoy

The composition of the fabric is the same, 100% Solution Dyed Acrylic. The difference is in the patterns and colors offered by the two companies. The two companies market to different levels of clients.

There are also some No Name outdoor fabrics that are just as good as well as some solution dyed polyester fabrics that have a warranty against fading.

The fabric below is from Perennials. You won't find anything this unique in color combinations from Sunbrella.

Thank you! Really appreciate the clarification. So, as I understand it, as long as I like a certain color or pattern in either, I should go with it, without getting into minute details regarding specifications etc. Thanks again.

I love the perennials offerings (as far as patterns and colours) much better than the sunbrella.

Sunbrella is NOT ALL waterproof. None of the pieces I own are waterproof.
