Bamboo blinds/shades for different sized windows

Just bought a new house and wanted to install coordinating bamboo blinds/shades for the downstairs windows. The house is a contemporary style. I am using stationary panels of a large floral vaguely tropical linen print on the largest window, which will need a blind because there is not enough room for full drapes. There are two smaller windows in another room, and in a 3rd room there are two very narrow slitty windows only 17" wide.

I ordered a lot of samples from Blindster and found the right colors, which would have a bit of brown, green and toast. But I can't decide on the size of the slats; I'm concerned that the 1/2 inch will look too chunky for the slit windows, but that the texture in the type that have 1/4 inch combined with matchsticks will disappear on the big window which is 72" wide. Also can't make up my mind whether to order the threading in dark brown, that will show up as stripes, or the threading in a light brown that will be a more quiet stripe. Any advice?
