KSWL, I think they look grand! I have a fondness bordering on addiction to trays. I really must stop looking at décor mags, and especially stop haunting antique, consignment, and restore shops.

Oh, those are perfect. I gasped when I read your earlier post about the ottomans, without trays, and the words "drinks and snacks." I may have shrieked out loud, "... but the carpet?"

Annkh, when you want to put your foot on that ottoman or sit on it, you just move the tray off. It can go on the floor or on the table between the two daybeds. It is not heavy and yet provides a very solid surface for drinks or snacks. Just another multifunctional item in this room of a thousand functions :-)
