RH Silver Sage & What Neutral Color? Please Help

Posted by dreamywhite (My Page) on

I need help. We are building a new home. It is very open with not a lot of walls so everything blends. I know I want RH Silver Sage in the kitchen and dining room. We are having all bright white trim, doors. Light whitewashed oak flooring and ORB knobs and lighting fixtures. Was thinking of using SW Rice Grain 6155 or RH Cappachino paint. One is light and one is dark. What looks the best with the RH Silver Sage, lots of bright white and light flooring? Most of the furniture will dark wood like walnut or blackish.

I'm open to other colors that you think might be a good choice. Please help. Light or dark???

My gut feeling is to go with the RH paint since they have created a color palette that is foolproof in matching colors. I have RH Silver Sage and also used RH Latte in another room.

I do like the lighter SW Rice Grain you chose.

Have you done wall board samples to compare them yet? How the different brands play with the light coming in through the windows, and how they look under evening incandescent light will make a difference.

Dilly_Dally - by any chance would you have time to post a photo of your SS and Latte? I have a sample card of Latte and it looks to be another good color.

Sorry I have the time, but not the skill. I am trying to learn now to get the photos off of my cell phone. I did manage to get my photos into the gallery here but now I can't find how to locate them. Sorry.
