Ive many large framed prints, primarily bright florals with big white (vs black) backgrounds, but my two favs are on black.

I had recently made note of twist on the bright on black when I happened upon this big print that Ive been considering for our powder room. Not the fish but the brights on black.

I have a question, not related to your prints, though. What are you using for the pool cues in the corner? We have a wall rack for ours (which I'm not crazy about but he wants to keep), but it doesn't hold all of them. He has several others leaning in the corner, but I'd prefer a more elegant solution. I was thinking an umbrella stand or something.

Errant, that is indeed an umbrella stand holding the pool cues in the corner..... it is a metal piece from a company called Worlds Away and is hand painted with the words "Come again another day." I'll try to take a close up of it later on, but I don't think that particular one is sold any longer. I saw a wonderful ceramic umbrella holder in the Birch Lane catalog very recently and I'm sure other places must have them.

I love those prints, but I think my fav thing in your makeover is the color you have on your pool table. It really elevates the whole area and decor beyond "awkward, ugly pool table."
