Pull up a chair and actually sit at the table, at each spot.

In most cases a well built gate leg table's legs are spaced so that no one has to strattle a leg when seated.

It's 250.00 on CL. So, yes, I probably need to try it out, but it's quite a ways for me.
It looks like on the second picture, the person sitting right there will have at the very least that connecting piece in their way, not to mention how wide (or narrow) that space is between the two legs.
I have another beautiful antique table that only has two seats without a leg in the way.
