No updates unfortunately ellendi! We spent about four months interviewing architects and contractors and finally settled on one, only to have some health issues arise in our family, so we put the brakes on our remodel. We're meeting with the architect soon to discuss the design and schematic, but no plans have been drawn. We're hoping that our new kitchen and baths will be in this fall (wishful thinking?) assuming we don't run into any issues with permitting, etc. We are ready to get started -- living with a kitchen with no dishwasher and barely functioning appliances is getting old! Although, living in the house for 8 months has given us a much better sense of how we live in the house and how we use the spaces, so I'm actually glad that we're slowly tackling this project...even if we're impatient!
