I was thinking I might try layering a larger 8 x 10 sea grass rug with a smaller "fun" rug for my living room. This way I can do something that wouldn't be as expensive, I could change it out later, and also could be a little bolder in pattern but might not be so overwhelming as it might be in an 8 x10. Is there a size you would recommend for the smaller rug, how much of the sea grass should be showing? Should I take into consideration pile on either of these? A certain weave on the sea grass? I don't really want to trip on the smaller rug. Thanks for your thoughts.
