lesmobo, I think we like the same colors. I actually love gray, but not on walls, not in my house at least.

I adore cream, ivory, warm but not yellow. Look at SW Antique White. It's esp. lovely when the sun hits it. I think it has a more gold aspect than yellow. I went through about $200 in sample paints before I found it. I can't abide pink or peach undertones.

I have Cloud White cabinets and AW on all my walls. There is a difference, but subtle, more of degree, layered. I have a much whiter trim (Kelly Moore Swiss Coffee) but none in my kitchen. It looks nice with AW.

Thank you Linelle. I will try it! I spent a bunch of time and money trying to find the perfect gray. Then I finally decided - I don't like gray in here! LOL!

That layered, subtle warm white, rich white look is what I am going to try next. Thank you! Oddly enough it makes me feel better that someone even understood what I was talking about!!

lesmobo, I have a gray house, for heaven's sake, and I love it. It's just interior walls I can't do.

Unless you're a white ceiling person, Antique White is great on ceilings, enveloping the room with french vanilla creaminess. I totally get where you're going layering the warm, rich whites. It makes me feel complete.
