Closet doors - plantation or 6 panel?

For some reason, when we purchased our house it was missing the upstairs closet doors. I have finally convinced DH that it is time to put some up.

I really don't have a preference between the 6 panel bifold or the plantation size louvered bifold. I am posting to see if either had a universal red flag that hasn't crossed my radar.

Plantation doors are $94 and 6 panel are $57 so there is a significant price difference.

I would use plantation if the closet has an exterior wall so as to allow for heat and ventilation. to circulate.

What are the other doors upstairs? If they are 6 paneled I would use the same.

I like the look, but I would personally never want louvered doors again. Dust traps if you live somewhere like I did with outside dirt swirling about all the time. It always makes its way inside somehow.
