| There is now a much easier way to post pictures on GW. No more HTML/Photobucket, etc. Here is a complete explanation from Ravencajun at the Kitchen Table. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Instructions for direct posting of pictures

| Is this the correct link? The post only seems to concentrate on resizing, not direct posting(?) |

| Quoting : In case anyone does not understand how to use the new image upload feature. 1. right above the title of the thread there is now a image file to upload area with a browse button. 2 click the browse button. 3 go to the location on your pc where you have pictures stored. 4 select a picture by clicking on it. 5 click the open button 6 the link to your picture will now appear in the blank on your post where it says image file to upload. Hit preview button as you normally would then the submit button. |
| Ah, now I see it , thanks |

| I can not download the resize function I think because I run Kaspersky .. Any work around or suggestions ? Also ,where have I been to not even know this I've seen the "Image file upload" feature OK... But really |
| When using thiS new feature on GW, can we upload more than one photo. |
| Forboystoo, Tamara (GW employee) had a couple threads on the Cooking forum about the new feature, but I haven't seen an explanation offered on any other forum. No idea why. Lyban, from what I understand only one upload per post using the GW feature. If you want to include more you'll have to use a photo-hosting site. |
| Tamara posted it here too. |
| Have a link? |

| Tamara also posted it in Kitchens. My understanding is the same as Natal's--one pic per post. I still prefer the good ole posting from a photo hosting site or using the HTML code. Pocs don't end up tiny, and you can do more than one. |
| Do photos become the property of GW once on their site? Not that I care. My photos are bad. In fact, they are so bad I prefer to be able to delete them from a post if I post an embarrassing one. Can only do that with a photo hosting site. (If one does use the new GW system, I don't think anyone will be offended if one replies to oneself enough times to get all the photos up!) |
| Will this also work with a Mac? |
| Fori, yes. Sable, yes it works with a Mac. This is from mine. |
| Sable, well maybe it doesn't. I could view it in preview, but it didn't show when posted. Just as well. I'd rather use a photo-hosting site. |
| Well darn, Natal. So I must continue to look for a program/app that says highlight and click! |
