I have a few and love them! They have held up well in lots of rain!

They are lovely! But how are they getting enough sun when installed under trees like that? Roar ah, where do you have yours hanging, and how long do they stay lit?

Mine are on a very large Japanese maple and they do seem to get enough light for a few hours of illumination in the evening, but if we are entertaining at night I put them in full sun for the day and place them under the tree in the evening for longer light.

How much light do they throw? We have one from another company and it barely glows at all. Not even enough light to keep you from bumping into the furniture on a dark night.

I think the top picture is a fair representation of their illumination. I use mine for ambiance rather than function for the colors are brightly lit but the light is thrown in a slim tunnel downwards thus you need many to cast alot of surface light.

Love these!.... but don't care for the ultra white of the solar I've seen so far. In the second, pic the white looks fairly soft.. Same IRL? So glad you posted this!

Would it be possible to insert ordinary E27 bulb holder with LED bulb into it - Directly or via some hack/ mminor mod to them?
