Question about bathroom vanity light fixture

I'm doing a minor update of a guest bathroom. I getting a new 36 inch vanity (37 inch top) and a 27 inch wide mirror. I'm adding a light fixture above the mirror likely with four lights of some sort. They vary in length - 28 inches, 32 inches, etc. About what length do you think is best so it doesn't look over sized or under sized?

I think it shouldn't be wider than the mirror. I have a 3-light fixture and it's plenty of light in my windowless guest bath. I use 75 W bulbs.

3 lights seem like plenty of light for this size vanity.

I don't think you will have to worry to much. You could do 3 or 4 light and would be fine.

I had been shopping also for a new light fixture and looking for ideas online I had even seen vanities with a single light light fixture and you would think it would look odd or undersized, but it actually looked fine.

Thank you very much for that photo with the three lights. I think you are right that I should maybe stick with three and keep it more in line with the size of the mirror.
