Must be the angle, because those pendants look like they are hanging in the strangest places! It also doesn't look like the kind of pendant most would want over the cooktop or in the main kitchen zone! They are pretty though!

I think dreamingoftheUP nailed it. But when I first saw the pic I was reminded of the Murray Feiss Lucia pendants and sconces I was looking at when I was looking for sconces for my stairs. Too formal for my stairs, but I love the finish - burnished silver - and think the placement of the crystals in the lattice is beautifully done.

different strokes, different folks. I love bling in a kitchen. My friend has 2 mini chandeliers over her island and they're to die for. They won't be over a cook top, and even if they were, I'd be cleaning it lol.

Mlweaving, that's a gorgeous pendant! Something like that would be nice for over my banquette. I saw a white drum shade with silver over it that may look nice. Clean look, not busy, in keeping with white and chrome.
