Wow, Holly-Kay! Those lamps are beautiful and would look GREAT in your BR! Are you sure they wouldn't work (aside from your wanting table lamps!) because with sconces, you can place them so the light is actually over your book, and with that, 60 Watts should be plenty!

Of course, once you wire sconces in to be on either side of a bed, you're kind of stuck with that arrangement. I wonder, though, if this lamp comes in a table lamp style.

I love them, they may be too matchy matchy but I couldn't believe my eyes. Maybe I should do the redundant style of table lamps and wall sconces. LOL.

Those are gorgeous! You could replace the bulbs with LED bulbs equivalent to 100 watts. I'm assuming that the 60 watt limitation is due to heat generated by larger bulbs. LED bulbs stay cool.

Tibb, they are actually the plug in style so they could be changed out because they aren't hardwired. Of course they would leave holes in the wall where they are attached. I am going to measure the area behind the headboard and see if they would fit where the pediment drops off IYKWIM.

IMO, you should go for it. They're beautiful. Holes in walls are not that hard to repair if you wish to do so later.

More room on your bedside tables for books, etc., and those lamps are a two-fer: reading lamp AND the decor you're looking for.

And bbstx is right. Put LED bulbs in them.
