What kind of fixture are you looking for? Another pendant? Or a lamp? Do you have a photo that shows the two spaces so we can see how they relate to one another?

How about a copper onion lamp chandelier?

I am open to whatever might look good. pendant or other style. By lamp do you mean a flush mount fixture?

I will try to get over there today to get a picture but it won't be that helpful as the cabinets are not due to be installed until Tuesday. This is a new build so we are not living there yet.

I'd say this is "similar" layout to what I will have. White cabinets to the ceiling soapstone countertops. My island is bigger and I have can lights over the pennisula (single counertop height, not bar height like this one). There are lots of windows in the nook.

KAM, it's actually Sandwich Lantern, in Sandwich, MA, which is very close to where I live (I had simply Googled it, saw the lantern, liked it, but didn't realize it was a Sandwich Lantern lamp at the time! Lol). They make great stuff.

Onion lamps are very common on Cape Cod.

Btw, I thought an onion chandy might be a good choice because your pendant light has a bit of a marine look to it, and so do onion lamps (hence their being so popular on Cape Cod).

kam, I just wasn't sure what you meant by a kitchen nook and by "light" didn't know if you meant a lamp on a table, a pendant, a sconce, or what.
