 o
kitchen wall color?

I also posted this question in the Kitchens forum, because I wasn't sure where it fit best. I would really appreciate any input on paint colors for the kitchen. The painters are there now working.

We are painting the perimeter kitchen cabinets in BM revere pewter (soapstone counters) and the island cabinets a darker gray--SW Anonymous (white macaubus quartzite counters). The backsplash is a simple white subway.

Does anyone have any suggestions for wall colors? We are leaning towards keeping the trim (windows, baseboards, doors) a white to match the rest of the house.

Thanks! I think the end is in sight . . .

BM recommends raccoon hollow or Silver gray, both of which are nice....

RE: kitchen walls

Thanks. The raccoon hollow is darker than I want. I think I'll sample silver gray--I was a bit worried about having too much going on in the kitchen, but maybe it would be fine.

No suggestions but am bumping this up for you. Let us know (with pics, please) what you end up using.

RE: revere pewter

Thanks. And I had the island color wrong--it is SW porpoise (one darker than anonymous).

I will post pics when I can. RIght now, everything is covered with plastic and brown wrap so there isn't much to see yet.
