This is lovingly referred to as "the box". It is the top of the basement stairs and houses two closets. ( It is coming ups sideways and I'm too tired to fix it.) When you enter our house, you go straight to get to the living room or to the left to the dining room/kitchen. I plan to paint this in a contrasting color - deep taupe - and maybe throw a little deep taupe on the fireplace mantle to bring the room together. This wall will be the home of our new family photo gallery - 9 12x12 canvas prints hung in 3 rows.
