I like it. In my area, garage doors in the front of the house usually look like big white empty spaces that really detract from the main entrance to the house This has some character.

Love it. They're usually painted with the same color as the house siding, which ties it all together when viewed as a whole. A common sight around these parts.

Don't care for the green. I'd love it if the green areas on the door matched the shingles above.

We're not seeing it in context with the whole house. It looks a little busy to me. Typically, if a garage is in front I like it painted the same color as the house so it blends in and is not a focal point...the front door should be the focal point.

I like it. I love a carriage look door as long as it goes well with the overall style of your home. I have one home that a carriage style door would look lovely on but our other home just couldn't pull off the look.

It was a separate garage, that was to the left of the house. If you were standing at the front door the garage would be on your left.

I am a fan of carriage hardware. But how they placed theirs eludes me. Double handles which are light weight, as are the hinges. Perhaps they are the originals from the old garage.

I like the look. I've seen similar hardware on these types of doors here, too. Now that technicolor mentioned it, I see that ithe hardware doesn't really make much sense, but I still find the overall look appealing... for now at least. I will soon probably be noticing odd hardware and it will start to bother me. Ha. It's happened with other things I've 'learned' on gardenweb.
