| Hi all,
I'm in the process of getting my whole house repainted. My painter uses Benjamin Moore. At this point I have spent $200 is paint samples and am beyond frustrated. I have early 1900s pine floors that are a rich caramel/organgey wood color that I am basing my color choices on. There is not much natural light in the house (Baltimore rowhouse) so I was hoping for lighter warm colors in the caramel family. Attempt #1:
Attempt #2:
The first floor goes from an entry way (which I was hoping would be on the darker end of the swatch strip) to a sitting room (~middle of the swatch strip) to the hallway (lighter end of the swatch strip). Any advise would be great. THANK YOU! |

| I FEEL for you!!! I was in the same boat on my master bath. I went with BM NATURAL CREAM and love it. Went taupy neutral on me - I just loved it. But light of course depends so much.....Maybe check that out? |

| Have you thought about the BM Aura line ? I was very happy with them. I used Honeymoon, Safari and Subtle from the yellows, and Hush in my bedroom, which is a really lovely non-yellow tan. Honeymoon Safari And Hush ... |

| We have Behr "Autumn Glow" in our powder room. I love it. Sort of apricoty. I'm thinking about using this color in the kitchen too, though I may colormatch it in BM since I'm enamoured with Aura paint now. |

| Dear flatcoat2004, Beautiful color choices! Just what I was looking for. So the second picture, is that Subtle or is that Honeymoon in a different light setting? Thanks again, |

| The first two pictures are both Honeymoon, maybe they were taken at different times of day ? Honeymoon is my favourite of all the colours I picked, it is really very beautiful even on my horrible walls. Subtle is a paler version of Safari (with Jicama in between), unfortunately I don't have a good photo of Subtle. |

| I totally feel your pain. I had my heart set on SW Blonde, until I put it up and saw that it actually looked like a gross flesh colored crayon! ICK. After my $200 in samples, I found SW Believeable Buff, which we colormatched in BM paint. It looks alot like Flatcoat's second pic. A warm, golden beige. Goes great with my wood, which sounds similar in color to yours. Good luck! |

| Splitting the difference, the colors 197-199 (Americas Heartland, Cornsilk, and Barley) are on the strip between the #183 and 212 strip. Could any of those work? |
