I am "updating" my master bedroom from the furniture that my husband has had since college, 30+ years. I have selected the furniture, a dresser and two nightstands, but it comes in several colors; a coffee color that is quite dark and then several others including a natural cherry.

I think the dark will look nicer with the fabrics and wall color but I have several pieces of furniture in natural cherry that would match well with the style of the furniture and this could give me flexibility in the future.

Anyone select dark furniture and regret it? I am at work and can't post pictures from here so will try for that later.
