It may get you started on the right color chip anyway...

I would check out BM's Color Stories line. It's full spectrum and does not die in the shadows. It might provide good effect, being a basement with low light conditions.

I don't know if this color would be lighter thn you want, but BM's Muslin is nice and pretty neutral. We used in a slightly below grade guest bedroom. During the day it's a bit creamier, cocoa-ish, and it takes on more of a khaki tone in the evening. We had it mixed up in Aura, matte finish. Love the color!

Try BM Crisp Khaki. It is a nice neutral.

You might also try BM Everlasting.

Another one to try is BM Jute :)

Take a look at Valspar Desert Fortress. It is a true light tan/khaki, never looks green or murky.

I have it in a bedroom which is perfect; I have it in m FR and it is not working great for me, because, unlike you, I need mine to have a green undercast.

The color in your pic looks really similar to what I have in my MB, sherwin Williams relaxed khaki. It's a great color.
