Here are the floors. There is a large window in the room as well

The bottom color reads cleaner the upper color reads warmer. I like the bottom color best. The upper color looks a little too much like mud that we have way to much of this time of year;)

The colors are down pipe (top) and railings, below (farrow and ball),

Both are gorgeous colors. It's really a matter of cool v. warm. I'm a big fan of Downpipe myself.

I prefer the railings. Brings out more of the blue in the stone.

Ahhh, now I'm thinking neither are right.

The cabinetry will have a pewter mesh/grill insert in one of the pieces if that helps make this decision.

It depends on whether you want a cheery utility room or not. I love the colors but for a utility room they're too dark.

I would paint the walls a shade lighter than the dover white.

I have dover white on my cabs, large window, and very pale yellow walls. I never have to turn a light on in there unless it's night.

Ah - with pewter, perhaps Railings is the better choice.
And I love a dark wall color in a room with lots of creamy cabinets. Gives it dimension and sophistication.
