I paint the inside of my doors the same color as my trim. I have seen some nice doors painted black inside also.

I am thinking I'd prefer the wood color myself but I haven't been in enough homes to know if this is common. This is sort of what it would look like inside (not my home, but similar style with white trim etc etc and wood floors)

Versus say this style:

Either wood or match your trim color, your choice.

I think I'll go "wood" then. I think it looks a bit fancier, and for what I'm spending on this door I'd like to enjoy the outside of it "inside"!
