Has anyone purchased from Lumber Liquidators?

We are looking to remodel and visited a Lumber Liquidators today. The place seemed to be busy but wasn't what I had expected. It was in a little building, kinda like those places that pop up and then they are gone. The Bella flooring was less expensive that Lowes, but I wanted some feed back on actually purchasing from them. Anyone have any feedback on the place?

We purchased our vinyl plank flooring from them without issue. I purchased it as I needed more, sometimes needing to go to a different location. Employees always seemed friendly enough. Their locations tend to be in more industrial type business parks, I think that keeps their costs down.

Build direct has nice flooring at competitive prices as well, and they will send free samples. We opted not to go with them due to the freight shipping fees, plus we liked the product at LL.

We also purchased flooring at LL - and were very happy with our purchase (laminate); no problems.

I'm thinking about purchasing unfinished red oak flooring at LL so am interested in replies too. I know they don't carry the highest quality hardwoods and you don't get to select individual boards. Since I only need about 11 sf and minimum is 20 sf, hoping I can get 11 sf of good boards out of that.

Take a look at the LL comments on the Flooring Forum on GW.

We bought the Bella Wood in Brazillian Walnut for our kitchen and dining room and have been extremely happy with it. It's a very popular company, growing like weeds. Bella Wood is their house brand and they keep their over head low to keep their prices low. They also have a list of independent installers they work with all the time so you can find some one with good skills to install it. (We went the DIY route)
