Master Bath - B&A

I have many projects started, so it is nice to finally have something completed. I never thought I'd be able to post a "Before & After", but here is my first.

Master Bath Before: My main goal was to find a relaxing color that worked with both the tile and the granite. I also needed towel storage since there isn't a linen closet and the vanity cabinets are already packed with other things.

After: Martha Steward Pip on the ceiling and Brown Alpaca on the walls. We changed the light fixture and towel bars, added some shelves, a train rack and framed photos from Hawaii. I'm not sure what to do about towels. Should we go with basic white or a color?

I like white. I think it adds nice contrast to all of the warm tones, plus it ties in with your fixtures, your millwork and the mats on your art.

The color is perfect. Looks lovely! I'd go for white in the summer and a dark warm color in the winter (for towels). Maybe a rust/brown or a green like your vase.

Very, very lovely! It looks like you achieved your goal beautifully!

Towels=I think a color would be pretty. You have enough white in there I think with the tub, doors, trim, sink. I really like the soft brown you have on your walls. When I look at the photo with the white towel I think it looks off. The photo with the blue towel looks more gentle. Blue may not be the color, but I think colored towels would be softer and quieter.

I like the blue towels. There's some blue in your beach pictures.

What colors are in your rug? And what colors do you like? You could also go with a medium blue (like in the beach picture).
