In a Paint Rut

We are repainting our foyer (2 story), great room and stairwell Edgecomb Gray. We have BM Simply White trim and ORB hardware, marble fireplace surround. The paint looks great on sample boards and even on the walls in places (couldn't resist). The lighting hits it perfectly at all times of the day.

The adjoining kitchen (open floor plan) has much less natural light. Consequently our Simply White trim and cabs in that area are a bit warmer looking despite the same paint. Same ORB hardware. Counters will be light gray something in the realm of bianco romano. SS appliances. I am stumped on paint color for the kitchen. The Edgecomb gray looks pink in there. I lightened it by 50 percent and it's even more pink looking.

I can't figure out what coordinates because of the different lighting. It's really amazing how much lighting changes a paint color.

I want to stay light and neutral on the walls. Any ideas?
