I used Old Fashioned Milk Paint Company's "Safe Paint." It's a slightly different formula so that it can be used on previously painted walls & non-porous surfaces. I used it in two rooms and was thrilled with the results: lovely color regardless of the lighting, and a matte, somewhat rustic texture (if perfectly smooth, flawless walls are important to you, don't use milk paint). It's fairly washable after it cures -- I smashed a moth on the wall & cleaned it up with a soapy wash cloth without marring the paint. I mixed it up in a laundry soap container with my stick blender and used a regular nap paint roller. Will try to post pictures later.

I am planning on using the safe paint in Federal blue.I guess my only concern was the women whom i spoke with on the phone from the Milk Paint company said to be very careful cutting in at the ceiling.She said i may have a problem with demarcation.Do you have any pics? And what color did you use in what rooms. Thank you for taking the time to help.

Here's an old picture of the living room. the orange is milk paint, the green is Farrow & Ball. The milk paint has more life to it.
