Dark painted window trims and mullions

I love the look of the black painted window sashes and mullions. My windows have the mullions between the glass and are painted a taupey / bronzey color. I'm wondering if a dark bronzey color paint would have the same effect. I'v looked for pics online for dark but not black,but everything seems to be black. What do you all think? Is just "dark" good enough?

I've seen it in the bronze, and it's beautiful.
