What color to paint our porch??

We painted our back porch about 15years ago. We actually used a stain. but it's opaque, so it looks like a flat paint. It's always been a little too blue against our house. The siding is called VIctorian Gray, not too blue or green, just a medium gray. What porch color would you suggest? Should a porch be darker, lighter, any ideas?

Pics? Hard to say w/o seeing it. Keep in mind that painting requires a lot more maintenance than does staining.

This I know. That's why we've never painted our large front porch. We have already painted the back porch, so it's just easiest to repaint than try to remove what's already there. I'll try to figure out the picture thing after church today. Thanks!
