The floor in the stairwell.

Do you think vd blue is too dark?

With the walls painted Revere Pewter, I'd paint the stairs a high-gloss black or I'd sand them down to the wood and stain them a rich color and then use a high-gloss polyurethane, and paint the risers and side trim a stark white, like BM Designer White.

What color bedding do you have in the second bedroom....can you pick a color from that?

I don't think bedrooms have to coordinate in color with each other....

Without seeing the rest of the bathroom...I think white is fine in there since you have a vibrant blue tile...but if you want blue in there I would go with the deepest blue in the tile.

Or maybe paint the second bedroom in that Vintage Charm. That is a really stunning color.

The bedding in the second bedroom is yet to be purchased, but probably something very simple - maybe just all white w/ an accent pillow.
