Where to buy small lamp shades for chandelier & sconces?

I need 12 for our dining chandelier and 2 for a couple of wall sconces. I haven't had much luck finding them locally, but maybe I haven't looked at the right places. I'm looking for creamy white fabric ones.
Thanks! |

| I've seen them online at Lampsplus, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Ballard Designs, and Shades of Light. And in real life at Lowe's. Can you tell I've been shopping for light fixtures lately ;-) |

| I've been searching for lampshades for months and I mean months! I finally ordered three from Fenchel Shades but I haven't received them yet. They custom make them, have lots of fabrics or you can send your own. You can order sample fabrics for $2. I just could not find the right sizes to fit. But with chandelier shades you shouldn't have that problem unless you'd like a barrel shape which is harder to find. |

| Dear arapaho, Thank you so much for your tip. I just received my shades from the FenchelShades site. I needed 3 shades that measured 6' at the top, 16' at the bottom and 11' tall for some table lamps in my living room. I couldn't find this size of shade anywhere! I ordered them custom made from Fenchel for just $26.59 each, in a chocolate brown color, exactly what I was looking for. I was kind of nervous to order the shades without seeing them first, but I got exactly what I was hoping for. The shades arrived in a week after I ordered them. I am so thrilled. Thanks, thanks, thanks! |

i saw some nice ones at lampsplus. how large of a shade would you go for your wall sconce? i was looking at shades that are 7" wide for a sconce(2 candle bulbs)...total piece is 14" wide and 13" tall...would 7" at bottom shades be too big? |

| Just yesterday I saw some at Hobby Lobby...believe it or not. They were really nice...some were solid..others had pattern (houndstooth, plaid, harlequin). You just never know about Hobby Lobby. |

| tamara - your welcome! I ordered 3 shades but mine didn't fit. Problem was I had no original shade to measure from. They took them back with a 30% or so restocking fee. I still think that's fabulous since they were custom made. Most places won't even take them back. The quality was very nice so I plan on re-ordering once I can get sizes figured out! So glad it helped you. I searched for months and finally found them and was thrilled about it. |
