What color sofa goes with a Mauve Recliner?

Posted by Good2 (My Page) on

I'm remodeling and purchasing new furniture for the living/family room. I have a Mauve Recliner and can't decide on what color Sofa to purchase. The floor is going to be wood (Bamboo) not real dark. Any suggestions?

Beige or Taupe goes very well with Mauve, with cream accents.

If you like, you can just compare paint colour cards at the store of similar colours to see the effect.

Love mauve, my childhood bedroom was mauve.
Good luck.

Gray/charcoal can also be a nice option with mauve.

Taupe walls, eggplant/lime green pillows thrown in to bring it more up to date. Love the purple sofa in the picture......do you dare?

Good2,

Do you have a picture of the recliner that you can post? The word mauve does not always mean the same color to all.
