I'm always thrilled to find someone else who shares my love for bold, bright color! You asked if I'd post pics of my "Crayola box explosion"-colored home, and I'm happy to oblige! Most of these pics are several years old, but still basically the same colors I'm still enjoying day in and day out. I saw your question about an adobe-colored bath, and that's not mine, although it sounds gorgeous! I hope you can figure out who that belonged to.

As for the blue that desertsteph doesn't care for, I chose it because it's the same shade as on Frida Kahlo's Mexico City house. I'm a big fan of her work. :-)

I love the southwestern colors - except the bright blue. not a fan of blue. deep turquoise - yes!

I always smile when I see your home . Love love that turquoise and that sweet secretary with a view. And I had forgotten the porch with the pretty painted rug....very very nice. c

I have always admired your house and your creativity, auntjen. Like you, I was hooked on happy colors when I first picked up a box of crayons. I was a little surprised, however, that your patio colors aren't as bright as the ones in the house -- but I do think your patio is lovely. Guess I was thinking that your outdoor chairs would be orange or purple. LOL
