Yes I am her Hubby.

I do not need much room at all. Just one drawer to hold everything and it would be fine.

I did stem from one of Redroze's thread but I think the topic might not interest most audiences or the way I am putting this down.

Thanks for your response. I think I am leaning towards the second picture and ask the furniture builder to go with straigher lines in the legs.

What will be on the wall below the tv? That might affect the piece that you put at the end of the couch.

You might think about a style that is similar to the style of the kitchen cabinets, done in the same finish as the island ,perhaps with a frosted glass top for interest.

Thanks, I will take your advice and sketch out how the tv wall looks first! The glass top sounds very interesting and I will be keeping that in mind.
