Too little blue??

This is the rug I have in my great room. As you can see it has a little bit of blue, but is there enough that I could pull out and use it as an accent color w/pillows, etc.? I like to change out for the spring/summer months, and was thinking of trying blue. TIA ;o)

Here is a link that might be useful: GR area rug

I think its a beautiful rug and for sure there is enough blue. I kinda like it that is it not a slap in the face match that it is a subtle but noticalbe tie in with the rest of your accessories. IMO

I think that it would als be a perfect backdrop to subtley pick up blues here and there in your home.

Thanks Haley! I've been mulling this over in my head for quite awhile, but can't seem to make a decision. For furniture I have a gold sofa and leopard print slipper chairs~would blue pillows look okay on the leopard print? It just seems like an odd combination to me, but I guess the leopard could be perceived as brown, and blue/brown definitely go together. As you can tell, this is one of those dilemmas i'll have to talk myself into or talked into by others. LOL ;o)

Very pretty. I like the idea of pulling out the blues too.

I have that same rug in my entryway. Recently, I purchased silk panels for my windows and seriously considered blue. I decided against it only because I don't have blue anywhere else. I think the blue accents will be beautiful in your room. (Which, I'd love to see.:))

Hmmm...without seeing a pic of your greatroom, I'm actually hesitant to say pulling out the blue would work in a completely blue pillow. I'd probably do a pillow in one of the more dominant colors in the rug and then have a blue flange on the pillow.
