Got such a nice compliment on my decorating style

yesterday. My daughter said, "Mom, I think, and the girls all think [grandkids] that your home is the epitome of cool." She said it's exactly how she would decorate the space. I was so touched!

She also said that she didn't know anybody who was more cultured in their musical tastes., so I got a two-fer. (We were listening to a Nigerian guitarist I found on npr.) She may need to get out more . . . ha!

It makes a heart feel good. I expect you will receive many more as the daughter walks in your shoes raising her own child and seeing what a swell job you did.
