Side table?

We are working on decorating our family room, have made it as far as sofa and loveseat, have an existing rug. Still need a chair, coffee and side tables, then finishing touches like pillows and drapes. I'm still thinking about most but fun functionality am ready to get an end table for the end of the table by the wall. There isn't much space so it will need to be small, due to placement it won't be very visible, but I don't want something heavy in that corner. I found this one on overstock that is cheap cheap and seems to fit those basic requirements but I'm not sure on it. Any thoughts or ideas for others? I'm also been considering the West Elm martini table in a brass. Pic of the room to follow

To the left, sofa could be moved down a touch, and doggy toy chest can be relocated. Thought is that the metal finish will look nice with nailheads

Love the one you posted. I also like the West Elm martini but I think the Overstock one is more interesting and fitting with your room.

It would go well with your coffee table and rug, I think. Make sure it will fit! Looks like a tight squeeze.

I'm not a fan of glass top because of how it shows everything badly - dust, finger prints, liquids from glass, but so long as you're okay with thatÃ¢ÂÂ¦.

Other option would be to put the other side table in there, lengthwise, and the new on between the sofa and chair.

It would fit with about an inch clearance on each side, plus the option of moving the whole grouping down.

I like it and at $80 the price certainly is right, but I'm on day 2 of being snowed in and am doing online shopping so making sure I'm not making hasty decisions due to cabin fever!

I like the table. As a side note, I can see a floor lamp in that corner instead of a table to give it some height. Just a thought. The room is coming along nicely.

I originally planned just a floor lamp but really need a spot to set down a drink. I may end up doing both if it won't look too cluttered

I love that brass table.....Does it come in black...would match your coffee table and lamp better? Price is right, that is for sure.

Have you looked at J'Ador at 63rd and Oak?

They have a nice selection of end tables. I got a round metal campaign table there last summer under $80.

I think a floor lamp and the round metal table would look great in that corner. That table isn't really big enough for a lamp in my opinion anyways, so a floor lamp would be perfect.
