We have very pale tan vinyl siding on our home and the previous owners painted the doors dark brown, kind of muddy brown, we plan to replace the roof with a architectural shingle in browns and tans but would like to accent the doors with a color other than brown. We have two french doors and an entry door with half gridded glass on the middle level and two half gridded doors on the basement level.

Previous houses we used a red cayenne but that color doesn't seem to fit this north georgia mtn home. We also plan to stain the decks and railings to bring out the wood color. Maybe a different brown color would work, brown seems so dull though.

I can't think of a single color I'd like, perhaps a green but sometimes greens can be so ugly if the wrong one is chosen, like kelly green which I don't like. I don't like burgandy or red or most blues either, what am I left with.
can you recommend a good green color for an exterior door color?
