New smocked drapes for my sitting room

These are my new smocked drapes for our sitting room from Country Curtains. (This is their picture ~ I ordered ivory, not white)

I was trying to decide if they should be pulled back or left straight down?? I'm thinking that they really look better straight down.
So now.... rings or no rings? Thanks :)

(The rocker was my grandfather's...my cousin surprised me with it on Christmas Day!)

I like them in straight panels, and think they would be great hung from small rings. But you'd probably have to hem them, or move the rods up a bit.

Smocking is a wonderful detail for curtains, especially on a light, fresh fabric like you have---is it a voile? They are very pretty, and I like that they do not overpower your nice windows.

I like them straight on the rod just like you have them. I love your room, it feels like home.

Straight down it is ~ and I still may try small clip rings someday. Thanks for sharing in my joy with my special rocking chair, too.

Snookums2...the paint is BM standish white. :)

Really?! It looks so yellow. I vaguely remember that color but not at all like in your room!

this picture was taken in full sunlight but the paint color is pretty much true to life. :)
