I hope some folks will post photos. I'm not a big painting person, either. We've been in this house a year and I went six months with nothing over the couch, deciding. Then I did an arrangement of woodblock prints, etc. that I had, but last week I decided I hated it and took them all down. So, it's empty caramel-colored wall, blah.

I have a 45" x 70" mirror with a lovely decorative frame over my sofa.

I don't have a photo, but I have 3 reproduction vintage travel posters, all the same size, hanging in a row over the sofa.

I found an old antique mantel in the trash on the side of the road - I have it behind my couch and it looks so great! It adds a lot of architectural interest. Here is the link, scroll down.
