They do look like cherry and not mahogany. It's hard to advise with only that pic, and I'd need to see them in person as a buyer, before deciding.

Then you'd be able to see if they are dovetailed drawers, any damage that doesn't show up in the photo, search the inside and underside of the drawers for a maker's label that the seller may have missed. Is the little brass 'button' at the top of each one a lock?

If you are the first to get to see them, I'd take that chance and go! If the dimensions are shown in the ad and what you are looking for in size and style, I'd be very excited to go see them. I'm a huge CL fan and have gotten pieces for great prices (or even free) that I just love. GOOD LUCK!

Can you post a pic of your bedroom and the nightstands? That is a deal, assuming they are in good condition and good quality!

they look pretty nice to me too! i also like nightstands with some storage, so they would be awesome that way! as long as they are well made, in good condition, and the right ht, i would certainly grab them!

Ahhh, just got an email from the seller that I am #5 in line to see them :/

So I think this score will likely go to someone else. C'est la vie.
