Can you give us an idea of what other colors you're using in the room? Wall, woods, flooring, rugs, drapes. If you could post a photo it would help.

a tapestry???

yayagal, the room is a blank slate. Dark wood flooring though I may have a light rug to put there. Here's a photo that was taken during construction. I'll take another as soon as I get the baseboard finished.

I have some bookshelves that I am going to put on the back wall.

I have a game table but I can't see it in there.

Oh, and the paint color is antique white. Yellow tone in the fireplace brick.

I did a search for tapestry loveseat and didn't find anything. Did a search for stripe loveseat and found this. What do you think, too light?

What a beautiful room!
At this point you could do anything. I typed Vaulted Beamed Ceiling into the search bar on Houzz and then chose living room photos and came up with thousands of rooms, from which you might pull some inspiration. A lot have leather, but a lot don't.
With the very neutral upholstery on your rocker you could mix a tapestry or a stripe or a damask texture, a print with a color, or you could add just about any other color in solids.
here are just a couple of rooms that might give you some inspiration on mixing fabrics. I realize the style of furniture is different, but the fabric mixes will work across styles.

Sorry, I was using the custom fabric color selector with Sherril loveseats, and it showed up right in the preview but in the post it went to white. I'll look some more for something similar

Thank you mlweaving_Marji. Those pictures look great; doesn't look nearly as blah as I imagined with all that neutral. That slipcovered one from Overstock is the same pattern as a loveseat I found on CL but the CL one was oversized and too big for my room I think.

olychick, I love that one.

I wish I knew exactly what we are going to do with this house. I thought I'd find a cheap loveseat on CL and then resell it after we sell this house. But if we end of staying here for awhile, I'd like to have something I really like.

Here is the room 99.9% finished.

I moved the wall units to the back wall today. The three of them used to be on a wall together in other houses we've had, but they look best on that wall in this house. Dh & I cobbled together a bookcase to put on the far left where the plastic tubs are stacked. These are the only items that are definitely going to be in this room.

The rocker-recliner can be in here, or in a bedroom. But if I put it in a bedroom, I have to find even more furniture for this room.

What do you think about this loveseat, both color and style?
