Looking for a shallow-ish Slide Out Shoe Rack

Hi everyone,

I have got great suggestions from the crowd here for all of my decor/organize dilemma ...so here I am with my next one. :-)

We recently got garage cabinets (Ulti-Mate garage cabinets) and one portion will be designated to shoe storage. We do not have a lot of shoes, however, whatever we have, I want to find a good solution for storing them.

The cabinets are 21"-22" deep. I need preferably a slide-in shoe organizer like the Ikea Komplement one, except that one is deeper by about 3/4"-1" and will not fit in my cabinets.

Any recommendations on how to get a slide out shoe storage drawer fitted to my required size?

Or, any idea on how to hack Komplement to fit in a shallower space? :-)

Have you tried Ikea? They have a few different size shoe racks, one might fit your needs.

Do you know that there's an "IKEA fans" forum - they might have a suggestion or two, including info on whether you can downsize the Komplement shoe rack.
