Pottery Barn Tanner tables

Does anyone have tables from Pottery Barn called "Tanner"? There are lots of different sizes. I ask because my "Tanner Long Console" was delivered today. The info says it has a hand-hammered finish (wrought iron). Instead it looks like alligatored paint in some places and smooth paint in others. Not that I hate it, but it's not at all what I think of as hand-hammered iron---just paint, and not very consistently applied. Wondering if anyone else can describe the finish on their Tanner pieces? Thanks.

yeah, I would not call it a real authentic hand hammered finish. It looks like a powder coat finish with some roughness here and there - almost like a bubbling.

But I do love them overall. I have the 2 round end tables.

Hi Wendy, thanks for the info. Sounds just like mine so I guess I didn't get a reject. That's good to know.

I got the long console for book storage. I do like it and it does the job well. Once the books are on it now, it's not noticeable. Actually, I don't hate the finish---it makes it look not so new which is a good thing at my house. But for $600, I did expect better.
