What about the middle of the bathroom? Should we put two cans in between the three sconces? I should also mention they are 4 inch cans.

Btw, the current layout of the cabs has changed. We have a 23" cab on each end and the same size in the middle. On either side of the middle cab is two 18" sink cabs.

Thank you Amy. Here's my idea of the can lights. Good lighting is so important in a bathroom.

how tall are the ceilings??
are the sconces the only other lighting in your bathroom?? not knowing how much light your sconces put out, I would be tempted to put justgota's lights in middle of room over the sinks instead...
also, those nutone/braun fan/recessed light combos are awesome imo and would put one of those in the water closet, shower, and possibly over tub if it's used often... otherwise I would put a chandelier over the tub! :)

Chandys over the tub are not to code in many cases; also do you have the height? If so you can have the chandy that I could not use over mine, LOL!

Whatever you choose, make sure they are using the tiniest ones avail IMHO. Nothing time stamps a room quicker than the size of the cans.Agree with Just's plan.
