How do you feel about replicating the shape but not the metal? What I mean is, how about a dining fixture with drum shades?

I had thought of going with a drum shade light but wanted to hear any other suggestions people had.

I hadn't thought of doing a rectangular shade at all. I like the one linked. It'll go in the maybe file.

Wow you guys are great. I really like the rectangular one from Horchow. It has similar features but is different enough.

How would you feel about a little bling? This fixture is "olde silver." It is little silver and a little gold and not much of either.
