Need help finding the right 'Orange' color for my dining room

So, I am on to the next room and as always struggling with finding the right color. I could surely use some help. New build- so far I have the following colors:

Master Bedroom- Wythe Blue

Master Bath- Palladium Blue

Family Room and Hallway- Richmond Bisque

Kitchen/Mud room/Laundry - Brookside Moss

The dining room is where I am currently stuck. The goal is to put up wainscoating thought it may not be there when we move in (DIY build). With Brookside Moss being a strong green, I can't seem to settle on a pleasing color for the dining room. When you walk in the door and look thru the dining room to the kitchen, you can see lot's of green. I think that I would like an Orange but can't really find what I have in mind. I've tried BM Soft Pumpkin and it is a little too bright.

If you have an orange color, can you show me your walls?

If not orange; what would you recommend for that room? The only other color that I have in mind is a blue.

Hi Kathy, love all the colors you've mentioned for your new home!! Orange happens to be my favorite color-i too tried quite a few samples before i went for faded clay.(pay no attention to the oak cabinets please!!)Please post pics once you paint!! Goodluck

mamiebella, I like the faded clay in your kitchen. What paint brand is it?

I went by Sherwin Williams today and picked up a couple of samples and will be putting those to the test soon.

what is the bella in your name referencing? My dog's name is Belle and she is a beautiful but bossy boxer, lol.

Lol Kathy!! Bella in ref. to my 7 month old baby girl-i guess the beautiful and bossy comes with the name-she's cute too but ooh soo bossy!!! The faded clay is by valspar-but you can get sherwin williams to mix it for you. I second Jan's yam, gingery copper mountain and pennywise(can be a bit too dark).

In my last house, I searched for the perfect "dusty pumpkin". It ended up being, for me, Laura Ashley 'Spice' (mixed in SW paints). You can find the paint chip at Lowes. It's going to be a strong contender in our new house's kitchen (w/ "antique" cream cabinets)....along with other muted, browned-oranges.
