Your thoughts on this countertop please

We've been working on finishing our basement for close to 2 years! We are getting close now, and I can't wait.

We are ready to order the counters for the bathroom and bar area and I'm drawn to the "Flaked Pearl" but I'm not sure if it will be too much white with the "Heavy Cream" cabinets. We have darker granite in the rest of the house, and I'm not in love with it. Looking for something different, I think. The walls are BM Beach Glass.

This is the sink area with the Ash tile:

This is the carpet we selected, with a piece of the tile laying in front for comparison. We are getting the carpet in the lower left corner:

This is the bathroom vanity. The walls here are Behr Elephant Skin:

This is the Flaked Pearl counter, with samples of the tile, cabinet and paint laying on top. The lighting in the store was TERRIBLE:

Finally, here are the other quartz samples we would consider. Catalina (may be too brown) or Pebble Creek (distinctly grey). Flaked Pearl is shown in the lower right:

Please share your opinions on the counters! More basement questions to come once the carpet is installed and I have to figure out furniture arrangements. :)

The flaked pearl and beach glass look very much like pink and blue, not a good combination.....maybe it's my ipad? I like everything together except the flaked pearl.

Flaked pearl (and many pearlized finishes) does have a slight undertone of pink -- but it could be the photo (and the store lighting!)

But I really do love it with your wonderful choices -- cool and fresh! Can't wait to see the finished room! :)

Flaked pearl!!! I'm allergic to pink, but I didn't really see it. It could be the store lighting.

I vote for the pearl also, Should look awesome with all the other colors.

Hi I am thinking of getting the Flaked Pearl as well. Just wondering your experience with the measuring process and installation? I am weary and just want to make sure I am making a good decision. Thank you! Do you have any photos after your install?

I like Flaked Pearl or the Pebble Creek. Your tile is amazing how much it looks like a piece of wood!

I like the flaked pearl -- pebble creek would be second choice. I think the idea of a light surface is good for the basement.
